Historical Marker Honors Educator and Founder of Voorhees College

Elizabeth Evelyn Wright will be honored with the unveiling of a historical marker April 3, 2016 in her hometown of Talbotten, Georgia.  Wright established the Denmark (South Carolina) Industrial School in 1897 that ultimately became the present day Voorhees College.
