Felician College becomes Felician University

Felician College received approval to change its name to Felician University.  The institution, located in Rutherford, NJ, opened in 1923 as Immaculate Conception Normal School.  It evolved to become Immaculate Conception Junior College in 1942 and in 1967 the name was changed to Felician College.
