Over Fifty Years of Service: Pitt Community College

The Daily Reflector of Greenville, NC posted an article with reflections and photographs from a 1986 anniversary celebration for the founding of Pitt Community College.  Pitt CC was founded in 1961 as the Pitt Industrial Center.  The name changed to Pitt Technical Institute in 1964 and then to Pitt Community College in 1979.  The institution's web site offers a short video and a detailed listing of milestones from over fifty years of service to Greenville and eastern North Carolina.
