Katharine Gibbs Schools...an exhibit at the Spellman Museum

The Boston Globe published two articles this month that featured Katharine Gibbs Schools.  An initial article by November 3, 2015 by Nancy Shohet West focused on Rose Doherty, author of a history of the schools, Katharine Gibbs: Beyond White Gloves.  Doherty joined the faculty of the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston in the late 1970's and later served as an academic dean and board member until the school closed in 2011.  You can also see a previous post on the College History Garden that featured Doherty's book and an interview with the author.

The second article by Steve Maas on November 12, 2015 coincided with the opening of an exhibit on Katharine Gibbs Schools at the Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History.  The Spellman Museum is located on the campus of Regis College in Weston, MA.
