Andrew Hazzard reports for The Dispatch on the tenth anniversary of the closing of Mary Holmes College. The institution was founded in 1892 in Jackson, Mississippi as Presbyterian Seminary and was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. It moved after a fire in 1895 to West Point, Mississippi and ultimately closed in 2005. You can read an earlier post on the College History Garden that also highlighted the institution.
