CMS College in Kottayam, Kerala, India will be celebrating a 200 year anniversary of the founding in 1815 according to reporting by Vinod Nedumudy in the Deccan Chronicle on February 2, 2015. The institution was founded by the Church Missionary Society of England and is considered to be the oldest higher education institution in southern India. CMS College enrolls over 2,000 students and has over 90 faculty members.
