Lutheran Higher Education in North America was written by Richard W. Solberg.  The book was published in 1985 by Augsburg Publishing House.  Solberg pulled together a interesting book that involved the contributions of many other historians, archivists, librarians, and others representing colleges, seminaries, synods, and other church groups.
