The Friends of Historic Eleutherian College maintain a Facebook page that includes information and photographs. There is also an interesting video clip that runs approx. five minutes.
Eleutherian College was founded by abolitionists in 1848, to serve as an educational institution for students regardless of race, gender, economics or religion. The current two-story building, constructed in 1853, is located in Lancaster, IN. Historical information is available on Wikipedia including links to documents prepared when seeking status as a national historic landmark.
