The Nazareth Association maintains an excellent website for alumni and friends of the institution. It was founded as Nazareth Academy in 1897 in Kalamazoo, MI by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Nazareth. Nazareth evolved to become a four-year liberal arts institution after 1924 and ultimately closed in 1992.

ReplyDeleteAfter plans for demolition were approved in April, the Sisters of St. Joseph motherhouse and four other buildings are finally in the process of coming down.
