Adam Coob of the Natchez Democrat wrote an article on decorating for Christmas at Jefferson College. Jefferson College closed in 1966 and was turned into a museum in 1977. Jefferson College was founded in 1802 and the Mississippi Department of Archives & History maintains a web site with more extensive history of the institution.
