In Service to America: AICS at 75

In Service to America: AICS at 75, written by George J. Petrello, Ph.D. and published by McGraw-Hill Book Company in 1988, served as a foundation for the more recent In Service to America: Celebrating 165 Years of Career and Professional Education.

Petrello focuses on the history of the Association of Independent Colleges and Schools to coincide with the 75th anniversary activities of the organization.  The book includes many interesting photographs, an appendix with institutional members of AICS recognized for 100 years or more of service, AICS officials over the years, and individual recipients of various AICS awards.  AICS consolidated with the National Association of Trade and Technical Schools (NATTS) to form the Career College Association (CCA) in 1991.  CCA then made another name change in 2010 and is now the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU).
