Finlandia University Prepares for 125th Anniversary


The Daily Mining Gazette of Houghton, MI posted "Finlandia plans 125th-anniversary celebration" on September 9, 2021 with reporting by Garrett Neese. 

The institution affiliated with the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded as Suomi College in 1896 in Hancock, MI. The name was changed to Finlandia University in 2000.
