While the Collegeland podcast isn't focused on college history, it is a fascinating podcast if you enjoy learning more about higher education.
This latest episode 9: Tales of a Campus Housekeeper features an interview with Tracy Harter, a campus housekeeper. The interview is amazing in many ways as she describes the role she plays in supporting students, her frustrations from dealing with administrators during the early months of the pandemic, and the emotions she felt when witnessing the removal of Silent Sam at UNC.
Collegeland is co-hosted by professors Nan Enstad and Lisa Levenstein and they highlight often overlooked aspects of higher education institutions.
