Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa announced this past week that it will change its name to Morningside University in June 2020.

Morningside recently celebrated the 125th anniversary of its founding in 1894. It was affiliated with the Northwest Iowa Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Classes start in the fall of 1895 after the college purchased what is known today as Charles City College Hall.
