Honolulu Community College Celebrates 100th Anniversary

Kelli Trifonovitch offers a brief and interesting historical sketch in a post for the University of Hawai'i News "Honolulu Community College kicks off centennial celebration" on February 27, 2020. 

The post includes a number of historical photographs, a couple of short videos, and a list of upcoming events planned to mark the anniversary.

The institution was founded in 1920 and was initially known as Honolulu Vocational School and Honolulu Technical School. 

It then became part of the University of Hawaiʻi after Community College Act of 1964. Honolulu Community College currently enrolls more than 3,500 students.
