Saint Mary's was founded in 1863 and was initially located in San Francisco, CA. It moved to Oakland in 1928 and the to its current location in Moraga Valley in 1928. You can visit the college website to read a
brief historical sketch and learn more about institutional traditions. The school became coed after 1970.
