App-based Audio Tours Highlight Oberlin's History

Oberlin College & Conservatory issued a news release this week, "App-based Tour Illuminates Oberlin’s History," written by Hillary Hempstead. 

Hempstead focuses on "Oberlin College: The First Century," an audio tour that introduces visitors to the College's early history.  It was developed under the auspices of the Oberlin College Archives and the Coalition for Oberlin History using the Izi.Travel app.  

Gary Kornblith, emeritus professor of history, and a number of other people from the campus and community worked together on the project that also now includes additional audio tours using the same platform:

• History of the Schools of Oberlin
