San Francisco Conservatory of Music: Anticipation Builds for Centennial in 2017

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music maintains an interesting "Notes From the Past" blog with a large number of posts.  The recent post, "1201 Ortega Street, 1956-2006," provides information on the conservatory's second home.  It was initially located at 3425 Sacramento Street from its founding in 1917 by Ada Clement and Lillian Hodghead as the Ada Clement Piano School.
The Conservatory's Library and Archives also maintains an extensive array of audio clips and interviews as part of an oral history project prepared for the institution's centennial next year.
