There have been a couple of news reports over the past week or two after the announcement that an alumni group is seeking to reopen Tarkio College in Tarkio, MO. The alumni are planning to open the institution in January 2017 with a two-year curriculum. Tarkio closed in 1992. Now, 25 years later, it looks like the institution will once again serve students.
