Brevard Community College changes name to become Eastern Florida State College

Bob Stover's FLORIDATODAY.com article focuses on a new name and mission for Brevard Community College as it becomes a baccaleaureate institution on July 1st with a new name, Eastern Florida State College.  The institution was founded in 1960 as Brevard Junior College and adopted the name of Brevard Community College following a merger in 1963 with Carver Junior College.
