Northwestern College (MN)
Mila Koumpilova of the Pioneer Press writes on May 8, 2013 that Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN will be changing its name to the University of Northwestern-St. Paul.
The institution was found in 1902 as the Northwestern Bible and Missionary Training School. In 1935 Northwestern Theological Seminary opened. With a liberal arts college, seminary and bible school, the name of Northwestern Colleges was adopted in 1944.
