Trinity College & Duke University (NC)

The Endangered Durham website offers over 100 images focusing on the history of Trinity College.    The institution, founded in 1838 in what became Trinity, NC [Randolph County], moved to Durham, NC in 1892 and changed its name in 1924 to Duke University.

The Duke University Archives is also a great source for images and historical information, including a number of digital exhibits covering academic freedom at Duke, architect's drawings, building the campus, gardens, through the role of women.
