The Virginia Nursing History site offers lists of nursing schools. Each entry includes the location, opening and closing dates. The material was originally compiled in 2001 by the Joint History Committee of the Virginia Nurses' Association and the Virginia League for Nursing. The site is part of the Virginia Nursing Archives at Virginia Commonwealth University's Tompkins-McCaw Library, and is maintained by Special Collections and Archives.
