Alma College
Lisa Krieger's 2/10/08 article, "New Life for Old Campus," in the Mercury News summarizes proposals for the property of Alma College. Alma was operated by the Jesuits from 1934-1969 after the Sacred Heart Novitiate of Los Gatos bought the property. Alma was the first Jesuit theological seminary on the West Coast and students included former California Gov. Jerry Brown. After Alma closed, the seminary moved to the University of California-Berkley. There is also a link on the page to a video walking tour of the property.
